Day 01: Arrival Kathmandu & Transfer to Hotel
You will be welcomed by the boss of company at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu (1300m).After completing your custom formalities (Visa, etc) pick up your luggage and look for our company display board at the arrival gate. You will be transfer to Hotel. After check in, you will visit our office; meet your trekking guide as well as other participants. Later in the evening we will organize a "Welcome Dinner" at an excellent Touristic Restaurant where you will enjoy with a fine meal. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Kathmandu sightseeing and Trek preparation.
Full day of sightseeing in the very famous capital, Kathmandu. We will be visit the famous heritage sites in Kathmandu.


We will start from your hotel by a morning walk in the blocked alleyways of Kathmandu. Your first contact with the smiling Nepalese people. We begin to cross the nice area of Thamel, full of nice shops, bars and restaurants.

We will see during this walk many temples and stupas: it will be for you the beginning of religious lessons, making the difference between Buddhists stupas and Hindu temples. You will discover with a great surprise how these two religions live together.

We will make a stop at Thahiti Tole, then in front of Kathesimbhu stupa. Always meeting statues and local shops (suits, spices, incenses, and so on) and listening the noise of bells (and of horns), we will see Asan Tole with wonderful Hindu temples. Then Indra Chowk and Pyaphal Tole. After 2 hours of walk and of wonder, we will arrive at Durbar Square.

Kathmandu Durbar Square situated the center of Kathmandu where you can see the House of Living Goddess “KUMARI” Kasthamandup temple” Said that was built from single tree in 16th century, big bell-big drams, erotic carving in old temple, old palace etc. All the most important monuments of the city are in this area. You will be filled with wonder by all these numerous such majestic and so ancient temples registered in the Heritage of the UNESCO. It is possible to spend hours, sat on the walk of one of these monuments, admiring architecture, considering the animation of places, dreaming. We will take lunch at the top of a restaurant, with a great plunging view.


You will begin the afternoon by another walk in the streets of Kathmandu, to look at the real face of this city, with local buildings and narrow streets. Then we will arrive at Swayambunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). Swayambunath stupa has it that Manjushree, found of Kathmandu valley, and discovered the lotus of ancient valley lake on which site the great stupa of Swayambunath was later built. The omni sighted stare of Buddha greets visitors & residents alike compassion. This is one of the oldest Buddhist stupa in the world, which has been registered in UNICEOO heritage side. It is said that Swayambunath Stupa is more than 2,000 years old, and it symbolizes knowledge. At the summit of this hill, the painted eyes on all four sides symbolize the all-seeing power of Buddha. It is an important Buddhist place where pilgrims from all over the world.

From this place we can have a wonderful panoramic view on all the capital. So great at the end of the day, with the sunset. We will come back hotel by bus.

Evening: Time for you to prepare the trek and we introduce in front of you our crew members. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Beni (850 m)
After breakfast you go for eight hours drive to Beni by car/van/bus, with the amazing sceneries on the way. Beni is the district headquarters and has a police check post where your trekking permits will be examined. Beni is at the confluence of the Myagdi Khola and the Kali Gandaki. Overnight at tented Camp.

Day 04: Trek to Babiyachaur (950m) 8 hrs drive
After have a nice breakfast We start our Dhaulagir trek from Beni. After leaving the Kali Gandaki river, passing through cultivated fields, villages, suspension bridges, we enter in the Myagdi Khola valley. Following the path at Myagdi Khola left bank, waliking past the small villages of Shisman and Talkot, we reach Babiyachaur. It takes five hours walk. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 05: Trek to Dharapani (1,400m) 6 hrs walk
After breakfast we hiking out along high and winging trail out of Babiyachaur, we cross the river to the west bank of Myagdi Khola heading north to Phedi. The valley widens and terraced hills develop on both sides of the river. The trail is fairly level and you pass the village of Shahashradhara, cross the Duk Khola and walking through fields arrive at Ratorunga. From here the valley narrows again and the terraces disappear on either side of the river. The trail Continue to the village of large village of Dharapani. It takes six hours walk. Tented Camp Overnight.

Day 06: Trek to Muri (1,850m) 5 hrs walk
After breakfast our hike continues to the village of Sibang and Mattim, crossing the river to its West Bank. The track starts climbing in earnest as you leave Phedi and there will be many switch-backs until you arrive at the crest and the angle of ascent eases. Winding trail continues uphill, with a great view of Dhaulagir (8167 m) and Gurja Himal (7193 m) and after the steep climbs we reach a large and dense village of Magars called Muri. It takes five hours walk. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 07: Trek to Boghara (2080m) 6 hrs walk
After morning breakfast we Hiking down, crossing a brook and walking through terraced fields and climbing a ridge we reach the pass from where we can view Mt. Ghustung South soaring at the altitude of 6465 m. Further descend to the Myagdi Khola and trek along its West Bank to the village of Naura from where we will climb a little before crossing a lush hill and climbing a steep slope with switch-backs and then descend through a forest and terraced fields to Boghara. It takes six hours walk. Tented camp Overnight.

Day 08: Trek to Dobang (2,520m) 5 hrs walk
After Boghara we hike down the trail through terraced fields to a small crest and a jungle to Jyardan; it is the most isolated settlement. The meandering Dhaurlagiri trek route cross through rocky area and green hill then go down through a steep stone step to the river bed. We follow the river trail for a while and then again ascend to cross a brook to a Kharka. We steadily descend to Lipshe and walk through the forest to Lapche Kharka and then the track go up to Dobang located on a flat land. It takes five hours walk. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 09: Trek to Choriban Khola (3,110m) 5 hrs walk
Afetr morning breakfast we cross a wooden bridge out of Dobang the trail ascends a forested area and after a while the west face of Dhaulagiri I (8167 m.) becomes visible through breaks in the trees. Hiking down to the Myagdi Khola and crossing it via a wooden bridge to the east bank we continue to Chartare. Again, passing through forests we cut across a rocky area and cross a river to Choriban Khola. It takes five hours walk. Tented camp Overnight.

Day 10: Trek to Italian Base Camp (3,660m) 5 hrs walk
Today, after morning breakfast we following a route to the terminal moraine of the Chhonbarban Glacier entering from the right, Tukuch peak (6837 m) becomes visible straight on; at the far end while the impressive north flank of Dhaulagiri I (8167 m) dominates the skyline to the right. The trail of this part of Dhaulagiri trek is not so well defined. After a short while you will reach Italian Base Camp (3660 m) that is the site of your camp for the night. From here to the west are the peaks of Dhaulagiri II (7751meters), Dhaulagiri III (7715 meters) and Dhaulagiri V (7618 meters). It takes five hours walk. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 11: Acclimatization and rest day.
This is our acclimatization or rest day at the base camp. Mosaic adventure strongly recommended that your body acclimatizes to the high altitude and be "tuned" for the even higher altitudes to come. You may explore around and andjust with the altitude. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 12: Trek to Glacier Camp (4210m) 6 hrs walk
We set up early in the morning when the weather is expected to be clear. The trail is bit prone to stone fall, and pass through a narrow gorge. Today we stay overnight near at glacier. It takes six hours walk. Overnight at camp.

Day 13: Trek to Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4740m) 7 hrs walk
Trek to Dhaulagiri base camp, one of the adventurous day of our Dhaulagiri trek. Tukche Peak (6837 m.) becomes visible straight on; at the far end while the impressive north flank of Dhaulagiri I (8167 m.) dominates the skyline to your right. After a short while we will reach Dhaulagiri Base Camp (3660 m), which is the site of our camp for the night. To the west are the peaks of Dhaulagiri II (7751m), Dhaulagiri III (7715 m) and Dhaulagiri V (7618 m). it takes seven hours walk. Overnight at camp.

Day 14: Another acclimatization and Rest Day.
This is another rest and acclimatization, very important for us to adjust with the weather. View from this place will be splendid and there will be plenty to explore. Tented camp Overnight.

Day 15: Pass the French Pass (5360 me) and tehn trek to Hidden Valley (5200m) 6 hrs walk

We start our hike early in the morning. After the glacier we climb two terraced hills, the first of which runs along the glacier, then cutts across the mountain flank and the moraine you enter a gentle incline on the left from an ablation valley. Climb this gentle slope to the French Pass (5360 meters). A great vista opens up from the French Pass and you will be able to see Mukut Himal (6328 meters), Tashi Kang (6386 meters) and Sita Chuchura (6611 meters), all of which surround the Hidden Valley. To the south is Tukche Peak (6920 meters) and beyond is the massive peak of Dhaulagiri I. From French Pass you continue along the right edge of the Hidden valley losing a little elevation to Thapa Pass (5250meters) between Tukche Peak and Thapa Peak (6,012 meters). Hiking down from Thapa Pass we will make it to camp at 5200 meters. It takes six hours walk. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 16: Cross Dhampus Pass (5200 m), and trek to Yak Kharka (3,680m) 6 hrs walk
Afetr morning breakfast we Hiking down the steep slope from the hidden valley to the Dhampus Pass and continue to summer pasture land at Yak Kharka. There is a perfect camp site to enjoy the surroundings. It takes time six hours walk. Overnight at tented camp.

Day 17: Trek to Marpha (2,667m) and then to Jomsom (2710m) 5 hrs walk.
Walking down to the village of Marpha, on the west bank of the Kali Gandaki River. Marpha is home to many apple orchids as well as all the various food products made from fruit. Apple Brandy is a local specialty that you may be lucky enough to taste en route. Continue north, up the river valley to the town of Jomsom. It takes five hours walk. Overnight at hotel.

Day 18: Fly to Pokhara
Today, early morning we fly from Jomsom to Pokhara and transfer to your hotel at lakeside. After check in hotel we will visit Pokhara City including David’s fall, Tibetan refugee camp and its handicraft centre. In the evening drive to Fewa lake side and enjoy free time. This free time can be used by making an hours boating on Lake Fewa enjoying the calm environment of sun-set time with the changing colors of the giant Himalayan range that cradles the Pokhara city. Pokhara is one of the most beautiful cities of Nepal, to the mid-western region of Nepal. It is richly decorated by beautiful nature on earth. The most beautiful jewel of Pokhara Mountain called Mt. Machhapuchhare with Mt. Annapurna and Lamjung. By the 17th century Pokhara was part of the Kingdom of Kaski, one of the most powerful of central Nepal's Chaubise Rajya or 24 Kingdoms. Kaski was ruled by a sub-branch of the Shah royal family. The hilltops surrounding Pokhara are dotted with the ruins of medieval stone forts. Kaski and the rest of the Chaubise Rajya were annexed by Prithvi Narayan Shah in 1786 and absorbed into the growing kingdom of Nepal. Around this time Pokhara developed into an important trade entrecote, lying on major trails between both Jumla-Kathmandu and India-Tibet. Each winter, mule caravans arrived from the north, laden with bags of salt and wool from the Tibetan Plateau. These were exchanged in Pokhara for grain and goods carried in from Butwal by porter. As a major government centre in central Nepal, Pokhara has naturally become a focus of development. Progress has been accelerated because it's such a pleasant place for to visit and live. Pokhara is now the biggest tourist destination in Nepal outside of the Kathmandu Valley, drawing 30% of visitors to Nepal. Overnight at lodge.

Day 19: Drive from Pokhara – Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive to Kathmandu by tourist bus. Along the way you can enjoy with good scenery views. You'll be arriving at Kathmandu late afternoon. You're free in Kathmandu for shopping. Overnight at hotel.

Day 20: last day of yours trip in Nepal

It's time to enjoy a bit of Kathmandu and the ultimate view of the great mountains! Free time in Kathmandu and transfer to the airport two hours before departure of your flight home, after a final goodbye! On the way back, you'll have time to plan a new adventure in Nepal, that country so magical!

Note: All participants have to give a copy of their insurance, with the address, tel and fax number of insurance company. This insurance has to cover the helicopter rescue in case of accident or sickness. In case of your insurance don't cover helicopter rescue, you have to fill a form in Kathmandu and make agreement that you will pay yourself the amount of expenses paid by Nepal Assemble Treks for your helicopter rescue or research. Without this agreement, you cannot participate in trek.

In The trek the guide is allowed to change the itinerary, depending of the weather, climate and the physical condition of participants. Each participant who stop his trek or make changes any form of program may not ask any money compensation to the agency.
